The lunch symposium regarding art universities was interesting to hear about. I really learned a lot about the day to day activities of an art student in addition to more complicated elements like student culture, expectations for work, etc. Personally I think that while I won't be attending an art specialized school, I will probably enroll in some sort of art related program. It's a hobby I wish to continue that might turn into something more one day. I think that art universities, especially the ones described during the lunchtime lecture have a place for people driven by art, but I can find art to be exhausting at times. It was also interesting hearing the perspective of the student who thought they would be a political science major but ended up switching to an architectural program after he had a major shift in interests.
